Alec Baldwin's Message To Charlie Sheen

Having survived his own personal dramas in the public eye, Alec Baldwin has some words of advice for Charlie Sheen. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.

Actor Alec Baldwin has some advice for Charlie Sheen: "Apologize. Then beg for your job back."

Baldwin posted an open letter to Sheen on The Huffington Post. "Go on Letterman and make an apology. Sober up, Charlie. And get back on TV, if it's not too late. Beg for America's forgiveness. They will give it to you. P.s. buy (Jon) Cryer a really nice car," he wrote.

Baldwin isn't the only star offering advice to Sheen.

Like Sheen, Mackenzie Phililps's career crashed and burned as television executives became alarmed by her drug use and erratic behavior while starring on the classic sitcom, One Day at a Time back in the 1980's. She's written about her struggles in her autobiography High on Arrival.

"I can totally relate to being fired from a hit CBS show, same network. I was making money back in the day when I was fired from One Day at a Time, a significant amount of money." Phillips told INSIDE EDITION.

So what is Sheen doing now that he's unemployed? Shooting spoof videos like the one just posted on RadarOnline.

In the video Sheen and "goddess" Natalie Kenly wear camouflage and launch a mock rescue of his old trailer from the studio lot where Two and a Half Men was shot.
