Some morning TV viewers saw more of Nicki Minaj than they expected when one of her breasts fell out of her top. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
A major wardrobe malfunction on live television. Red-hot singer Nicki Minaj was performing on Good Morning America when her breast popped out.
On the East Coast during the live broadcast, TV screens at home went dark for three seconds. But, Minaj was still overexposed when the pictures came back. Her bare breast was exposed two more times.
Reaction on Twitter was instantaneous.
"Nicki Minaj has nip slip on stage" said one Tweet.
Another said, "Nicki Minaj has wardrobe malfunction on Good Morning America"
Some bloggers are wondering if Minaj did it deliberately as a publicity stunt.
ABC issued this statement: "Although we had a five-second delay, the live East Coast feed of the concert regrettably included certain fleeting images of the performer that were taken out of later feeds of the broadcast in other time zones. We are sorry that this happened."
Meanwhile, police released a 911 call made when Minaj got into a fight last month at a hotel in Dallas with somebody in her entourage.
Hotel Manager: It's pretty crazy up here right now. This is Nicki Minaj. Her entire crew is up there on the 8th floor, and it is getting crazy. She got hit in the face by somebody too.
911 Operator: Who? Nicki Minaj?
Manager: Yeah, she got hit.
Operator: Who hit her? Do you know?
Manager: I don't know. But, I know she's screaming about it right now.
Minaj's wardrobe malfunction recalls Janet Jackson's infamous breast-baring moment during the 2004 Super Bowl.
After that incident, Jackson made a statement apologizing: "I'm really sorry, if I offended anyone. That was truly not my intention."
There has been no apology yet from Nicki Minaj.
