What Unfolded Behind-the-Scenes at the VMA's

While Beyonce took some of the VMA spotlight with her baby announcement, INSIDE EDITION has details from the night that you didn’t see on camera.

Beyonce's big baby news helped the VMA's draw the largest audience in MTV history. 12.4 million viewers tuned in.

And when Beyoncé rubbed her baby bump, she sparked another record—this one on Twitter, where there were 8,868 tweets per second—the most ever recorded for a single event.

Dad-to-be Jay-Z couldn't have looked happier. But his reaction to another performance was icy cold.

Jay-Z is said to have never forgiven Chris Brown for beating Rihanna back in 2009. The music mogul gave Rihanna her first recording contract, so when Brown finished his act Jay-Z stayed seated, quietly sipping his drink as those around him, including Kanye West, gave Brown a standing ovation.

And did Lady Gaga rip off another famous singer when she appeared as a guy? Kelly Osbourne is accusing Gaga of copying a performance by Annie Lennox at the 1984 Grammys, when she sang in drag.

"I love Lady Gaga but I wish she would start giving credit where credit is due! 1984 people!" tweeted Osbourne.

No response from Gaga.

On the red carpet, Demi Lovato's healthy glow was a welcome sight to her millions of fans. She overcame an eating disorder earlier this year. But one viewer actually had the nerve to tweet, "arms were looking a tad bit chunky."

Lovato fought back, tweeting, "I've gained weight. Get over it. That's what happens when you get out of treatment for an eating disorder."

But then she quickly took it down, replacing it with, "Guess what? I'm healthy and happy, and if you're hating on my weight you obviously aren't."

Now tweets from all over the world are calling Lovato "stunning" and "strong."
