Victoria's Secret Model Clips Wings for Faith

INSIDE EDITION speaks with Kylie Bisutti, the Victoria's Secret Angel who walked away from one of the modeling world's most lucrative contracts because the lifestyle clashed with her Christian beliefs.

It was the fulfillment of a life long dream for Kylie Bisutti. She beat out 10,000 other hopefuls to win the 2009 Victoria's Secret model search to become an Angel.

Bisutti was overwhelmed with emotion as she walked the catwalk for the first time and officially took her place among the world's most beautiful women.

But now, she's hanging up her lingerie and walking away from one of the modeling world's most high-profile jobs.

INSIDE EDITION's Diane McInerney asked her, "Why in the world would you walk away from such a lucrative modeling contract?"

Bisutti replied, "As I advanced in doing it, I just got so convicted about all the young girls that were looking up to me and the way I was acting. Was I really honoring my marriage? Was I really honoring the Lord?"

The 21-year-old Southern California beauty says wearing push-up bras and skimpy panties in public clashed with her Christian beliefs.

"Being beautiful is not about being thin, and having the longest hair, and tan, it's not about that. It's about who you really are on the inside," said Bisutti.

Now Bisutti says her body is only for her husband, Mike, to see.

"I felt like I wasn't honoring my husband. We were newlyweds at the time and this conviction inside of me just grew and grew," said Bisutti.

Bisutti's decision has jaws dropping across the country.

The View's Sherry Shepherd said, "If I had a body like that, damn you Sal [Shepard's husband], I'm showing that body."

So what does Bisutti's husband think of her decision to cover up her curves?

Bisutti said, "He was actually pleasantly very happy."
