INSIDE EDITION was on the red carpet and has the scoop on Oscars® best fashions.
It's not a Hollywood awards ceremony without a look at the fashion choices of the stars.
It was the va-va voom fashion moment of the night - Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz showing off their curves on-stage. But the plunging neckline of J.Lo's Zuhair Murad gown became the talk of the night when her dress shifted. Was it a wardrobe malfunction?
Social media went crazy, with J.Lo's dress getting a staggering 800 tweets a minute and Katie Couric tweeted from the red carpet ,"J-Lo's dress is making me nervous!"
In one on-line poll, 59% said it was a major league oops moment, while 41% said no but it came close.
J.Lo said she didn't have anything to apologize for. Her stylist, Marial Haenn, defended the dress when INSIDE EDITION's Megan Alexander spoke to her by phone,"We had cups built into the dress, so that you would not have situations like this happen," said Haenn.
That shimmering metallic Gucci dress sexy Diaz chose was just one of the pale hues that ruled the night.
Octavia Spencer found the perfect look for her curves in her beaded gown. The Best Supporting Actress winner said she stuck with lesser know designer, Tadashi Shoji, because he sent her dresses when she was an unknown and no one else did.
Gwyneth Paltrow looked white hot in her chic column dress and matching cape that was custom made for her by Tom Ford.
There were also welcome bursts of color.
Best Actress nominees Viola Davis was popping in her Vera Wang gown and Michelle Williams looked lovely in her Louis Vuitton dress, she had a 19th-century bow brooch at her waist.
AP's Natalie Rotman told INSIDE EDITION, "One of my favorites actually was Michelle Williams. It was kind of her Marilyn Monroe, absolutely beautiful moment."
Natalie Portman's pretty Dior gown had a twist - polka dots. Yet, while on the red carpet, she had to stop short when someone stepped on her hem.
Emma Stone channeled old Hollywood glamour in her gown with a dramatic bow at the neckline. Though some fashion experts noticed that Stone's gown was very similar to the Balenciaga dress Nicole Kidman wore to the 2007 Oscars®.
Marchesa designer and Harvey Weinstein's wife, Georgina Chapman told INSIDE EDITION, she dressed one of the night's golden ladies.
"I know of Stacy Kiebler and I am thrilled. She is in a gold Marchesa," said Chapman.
And Best Supporting Actress nominee Jessica Chastain wore real gold in the form of 24-carat gold embroidery on her striking Alexander McQueen bustier gown.
The Artist's Bérénice Bejo, in a delicate mint green gown, told INSIDE EDITION on how she got ready.
"A lot of people, music, and you know, lots of happiness and love around. Lots of French [people] are here with us," said Bejo.
And INSIDE EDITION's Deborah Norville got in on the fun with a dress by Rita Vinieri and jewelry by Jeri Cohen.
