Has Nicollette Sheridan's career been damaged by her bitter lawsuit against Desperate Housewives?
Her lawyer says Sheridan hasn't been able to find work since her run-in with executive producer Marc Cherry, who she claims slapped her and then killed off her character when she complained to ABC.
Sheridan's lawyer, Mark Baute, said, "It's had a devastating effect on her career. It's been difficult for her to find an agent, it's been difficult for her to find work."
Sheridan has only starred in the Hallmark Channel movie Honeymoon For One since leaving Desperate Housewives in 2009.
Attorney Royal Oakes told INSIDE EDITION, "The idea that Sheridan is having trouble getting work is a critical part of her case, because it has the ring of truth to it. A jury could understand it. Maybe if she was blacklisted she wouldn't get work. And it overcomes the idea that she's a pampered actress getting $175,000 a week."
Meanwhile, executive producer Marc Cherry was back on the stand today.
Before court started, rather than sitting at the plantiff's table facing Marc Cherry head-on, Sheridan sat with friends in the audience and was overheard telling one of them, "I can't stand looking at that monster!"
