Reese Witherspoon's Family Feud

Reese Witherspoon is facing family drama as her mother accuses her father of being a bigamist. INSIDE EDITION has all the details.

It's the last thing mom-to-be Reese Witherspoon needs during her pregnancy - a family feud.

But that's just what the Oscar® winner is facing. Reese's mother is accusing Reese's father of being a bigamist.

Their court battle was triggered when Witherspoon's 70-year-old father, Dr. John Witherspoon, recently got married again.

"Cowboy boots and yellow roses accented the ambiance of the couple's Texas heritage," reads the marriage announcement.

Problem is, Witherspoon's mother says John is still married to her, making him a bigamist.

Mary Witherspoon, Reese's mother, is now suing her husband to have his recent wedding annulled.

In court papers filed this week, Mary made a heartbreaking claim about her husband. She said she fears her husband of 42 years has early-onset dementia and can't even remember getting remarried.

She admits she and her husband live in separate homes but insists, "I love my husband and do not want a divorce."

Mary also said her husband's new bride tried, unsuccessfully, to crash Reese's 2011 wedding to talent agent Jim Toth.
