The truck driver who Lindsay Lohan rear-ended claims her people tried to bribe him right after the accident.
The truck driver, identified only as James, says one of Lohan's assistants offered him cash to cover-up the crash—as Lohan tried to leave the scene.
He said the assistant told him "this was some kind of famous person and they didn't want to be in the media, but I'd already called 911 because they were trying to get away from the scene," said James.
He said Lohan's aides also took a mysterious pink bag from the wrecked Porsche.
"They packed a bag, put clothes on the top of it, then told me, 'Don't mention it to the media,'" said James.
"This could be major trouble for Lindsay Lohan, especially given her checkered past. If you are involved in the bribery of somebody who could be a witness, you could be charged with a felony under California law," Royal Oakes, Legal Analyst told INSIDE EDITION.
Lohan's representative denies the truck driver's story and says she is cooperating with police.
"Once he realized he wasn't going to get anything from Lindsay he decided to get cash by telling tales to the tabloids," a Lohan spokesman said.
The accident happened Friday on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica when Lohan ploughed her $80,000 Porsche into the truck. She is now claiming the brakes failed.
The car was totaled—somehow, Lohan escaped with just a few bruises.
