In Christie Brinkley's ongoing battle with ex-husband Peter Cook, the former supermodel tells Cook's new wife that he's going to cheat on her. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
It's an extraordinary attack aimed at supermodel Christie Brinkley by the new wife.
Pretty brunette Suzanne Shaw married Peter Cook in a hush-hush wedding earlier this year. Now, she finds herself at the center of the never-ending divorce war between Brinkley and the handsome architect
"She really does take all the joy out of lives," said Shaw. "She's stuck. She can't move on, and I wish she would."
Shaw says Brinkley actually walked up to her and told her, "When you find out he's cheating on you, I'll be here for you."
Shaw said, "She said to me in the courtroom today, 'I pity you.' But I think she has that wrong. She really should look at herself and pity her children," said Shaw.
Now 58, Brinkley looked as gorgeous as ever in a chic black dress and big sunglasses and towering heels.
She and her ex are at odds over child support payments. Cook says he's up to date and that Brinkley is just trying to drum up publicity for her role in the national tour of the musical Chicago.
The new Mrs. Peter Cook says she feels her husband is the wronged party here.
"Christie is a vengeful woman," said Shaw.
All parties will be back in court Tuesday.
