Robert Pattinson is getting ready to break his silence for the first time since the humiliating cheating scandal involving his ex-love, Kristen Stewart and movie director Rupert Sanders.
Pattinson will come out of hiding to appear Monday night on The Daily Show to promote his new film, Cosmopolis.
The Twilight hunk is notoriously private about his love life, but he is expected to handle the comic's questions.
E! News correspondent Alicia Quarles said, "Rob is very private, but he is also very smart. I know his PR team is prepping him, 'Jon Stewart is going to ask you these things.' He might answer back with a smile or with a laugh. He will definitely have something witty to say."
About the only person on earth who is not following the cheating scandal appears to be Pattinson's Cosmopolis co-star, Paul Giamatti. Appearing on Good Morning America, George Stephanopoulos seemed a bit shocked when he learned that Giamatti was not that familiar with Pattison prior to working with him.
Stephanopoulos asked, "I read somewhere that you actually didn't know much about Robert Pattinson before you worked with him?"
Giamatti said, "No, I didn't. I'd never seen him. I didn't see those movies."
Stephanopoulos asked, "So, you didn't know about the Twilight craziness?"
"I kind of knew about it, but you know I'm an old man," said Giamatti.
Meantime, the betrayed wife of Sanders reportedly plans to flee the U.S. Actress and model. Liberty Ross, who has been spotted not wearing her wedding ring, is reportedly making plans to divorce Sanders and take her two children and move back to the U.K.
