Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson Releases Apology

Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson has released an apology after allegedly head butting his wife. Meanwhile, his termination from the Miami Dolphins is broadcast on the HBO series Hard Knocks. INSIDE EDITION has the details.

Former Dancing with the Stars contestant and NFL star, Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson issued an apology following his arrest for allegedly head-butting his wife.

On his website he said of his wife, Evelyn Lozada, "I truly love her to death. To all my fans and supporters, you have my sincerest apologies."

His remarks come one day after Lozada filed for divorce in Florida following just six weeks of marriage.

Tuesday night, HBO aired the dramatic moment on their reality show, Hard Knocks, when Johnson was told by his coach that he was being let go from the Miami Dolphins football team.

"I wish I could tell you something more encouraging. I think it's the best for both of us that we kind of part ways at this point in time," the coach said.

Minutes later, Johnson's locker was cleaned out, his name literally ripped off the wall. He was no longer a Miami Dolphin.
