Details On Justin Theroux's Proposal to Jennifer Aniston

INSIDE EDITION has learned details surrounding Justin Theroux's proposal to Jennifer Aniston during a romantic dinner in New York.

INSIDE EDITION is learning new details about the night Jennifer Aniston got engaged.

It happened at the exclusive Blue Hill restaurant in downtown Manhattan.

According to the new issue of People magazine, Aniston and her boyfriend, Justin Theroux, sat side-by-side at an intimate corner table and looked like, a "couple in love" having a "romantic dinner."

People magazine head writer Charlotte Triggs told INSIDE EDITION, "People at the restaurant barely noticed them and there was really no over-the-top proposal, no popping of the champaign. Jen and Justin were just having a relaxed night out together."

Theroux's friends say they knew he was about to pop the question because he'd been "dying to propose" for a long time.

After Aniston said "Yes," they toasted with white wine, not champagne and called friends and family with the good news. First on the list was her dad, soap opera actor, John Aniston, contradicting reports that he found out about it online.

Triggs said, "Jen's dad was very happy that Justin popped the question. He really loves them as a couple and he wants his daughter to be happy."
