Details Surrounding Lindsay Lohan's Pedestrian Hit-And-Run

INSIDE EDITION is on the scene as more details are emerging about Lindsay Lohan's arrest after she reportedly hit a man with her car and took off.

There's more trouble for Lindsay Lohan as she's arrested for a hit-and-run accident in New York City, and the man she allegedly hit is speaking out.

It happened when the troubled actress was driving her Porsche around a crowd of people outside the trendy Dream Hotel and nightclub in lower Manhattan shortly after midnight. That's when Lohan allegedly ran into a chef named José Rodriguez.

According to the injured chef, he said he was just leaving work when Lohan tried to drive up a ramp outside the nightclub and by the time he turned and saw the car, he'd been hit.  According to the chef, Lohan then told him to get out of the way.

Lohan and her friends then reportedly went inside the nightclub for a good time, while the injured chef called 911.

The chef claimed Lohan "slurred her words" and "smelled of alcohol real bad." But cops say she did not appear intoxicated.

"They acted like I was nothing. That no one could touch her because she was rich and powerful,” the chef told INSIDE EDITION.

Is the chef telling the truth?

Police say there's surveillance video that captured the incident, but it hasn't been released.

When Lohan came out of the nightclub she was arrested and booked for leaving the scene of an accident. The chef was taken to Bellevue Hospital. He said he suffered torn tendons in his knee.

Ironically, Lohan's arrest comes on the same day as the release of a poster for her upcoming lifetime movie, Liz and Dick, which tells the turbulent love story of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

As she was taken into custody, Lohan reportedly screamed, "Call my Dad! Call my Dad!"

Lohan's spokesman, Steve Honig said in a statement, "While some of the facts are still being gathered, it appears that this is much ado about nothing. We are confident...the claims being made against Lindsay will be proven untrue."

Now, the question is whether or not this latest arrest will be considered a parole violation in Lohan's jewelry theft case.

Just the latest chapter in the troubled life of Lindsay Lohan.
