Kim and Kanye Jump Security Line at JFK Airport

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West got special treatment at JFK airport, bypassing security, and other passengers are fuming. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were given special treatment at JFK Airport, by-passing security to catch a flight.

"Bum's Rush" blares the New York Post, "Kim Beats Security at JFK."

Kim and Kanye were catching a connecting flight in New York on their way back to Los Angeles from Brazil.  They cleared customs, when, according to authorities, a star-struck American Airlines employee used a secure pass to escort the celebrity couple around a screening checkpoint.

Once Transportation Security Administration officals got wind of the security breach, Kim and Kanye were removed from the aircraft and given a private security screening.

The security breach delayed the flight for about an hour.

Travelers at JFK were fuming.

"It's definitely unfair, everyone's gotta follow the same rules," one passenger said.

Another traveler said, "Security just needs to be tighter.  Like don't get celebrity star struck, just let everybody, everybody go through security."

In a statement American Airlines said, "This was a lapse in judgment by one of our employees. We're working closely with the TSA and speaking to the individuals involved to better understand what happened."
