Victoria's Secret Model Warns Young Women Against Modeling

Modeling made her famous, but Cameron Russell is advising young girls to stay away from the catwalk. INSIDE EDITION has the details.

She's a Victoria's Secret angel, but she's condemning the modeling industry that made her famous.

25-year-old Cameron Russell has graced countless covers and was featured at last year's big Victoria's Secret fashion show. Now, she's warning other beauties to stay away from a career in modeling.

"It's not a career path," said Russell. "What I really want to say to these young girls is 'Why? You can be anything. You can be the President of the United States, or the inventor of the next internet," said Russell.

Cameron is not just a pretty face. She's an Ivy League grad having graduated from Columbia University.

Her controversial speech at a technology conference has been viewed more than 1 million times on YouTube. She walked out on stage in a sexy minidress, but put on different clothes to prove there's more to her than being sexy.

The model says she'd rather be a model citizen.
