INSIDE EDITION has obtained the divorce papers of Josh Brolin and Diane Lane.
Hollywood is reeling over the split-up of Josh Brolin and Diane Lane and the date of their split is especially ironic.
Their divorce document indicates that Diane Lane actually signed it on February 14th- Valentine’s Day.
Lane is listed as the petitioner in the divorce by her full name, Diane Lane Brolin.
The document cites “irreconcilable differences” for the split and it notes that they have no minor children.
While the couple is trying to keep a low profile as their eight year marriage comes to an end, Brolin's famous stepmother is stepping into the spotlight.

Meron replied, "We called her. She’s been a friend of ours for 20 years and we had a 4 hour discussion and we told her more about the show and why she would fit in and she said yes."
