Joan Rivers Under Fire For Nazi Joke

She's always pushed the envelope of humor, but some are asking if Joan Rivers went too far with her joke about the Holocaust. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

Comedienne Joan Rivers is in hot water over a tasteless remark about supermodel Heidi Klum.

The German-born Klum wore a jaw-dropping low-cut gold gown to a post-Oscars party. Now, brace yourself for what Joan Rivers had to say on the E! channel's Fashion Police.

Rivers: "The last time a German looked this hot was when they were pushing Jews into the ovens."

She doubled over with laughter at her own remark, but it stunned the others on the set. TV personalities Guiliana Rancic and Kelly Osbourne.

"Oh my god," exclaimed Osbourne.

And it's triggering outrage. The Anti-Defamation League is denouncing her words as: "vulgar and offensive to Jews and Holocaust survivors, and indeed to all Americans."

But the controversial comedienne is refusing to apologize, saying, "My husband lost the majority of his family at Auschwitz, and I can assure you that I have always made it a point to remind people of the Holocaust through humor."

Rivers is also under fire for the way she poked fun at Oscar-winning singer Adele's weight problem on The Late Show with David Letterman.

Rivers said, "I met Adele" and spread her arms out wide.  Some were offended by that, but many more are upset by Rivers' shocking joke about Heidi Klum.
