A Slimefest For Stars At The Kids Choice Awards

Sandra Bullock, Neil Patrick Harris and Josh Hutcherson got blasted with slick, green slime at the Kids Choice Awards. INSIDE EDITION was on the red carpet.

No one was safe from getting slimed at Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards.

Sandra Bullock and Neil Patrick Harris couldn't escape the messfest. They were drenched while presenting the award for Favorite Movie Actress.

Covered in slime, Bullock said, "Obviously I can't see. You do the honors."

Neil Patrick Harris announced the winner, "Kristen Stewart."

Kids Choice Award's show host Josh Duhamel came out wearing a fake baby bump. But his wife Fergie, who really is pregnant, quickly put a stop to the joke.

The Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson and Les Mis star Amanda Seyfried also got soaked in slime, along with rapper Pitbull who was showered in the mess.

So, we just had to ask: just what is the icky green mess made of? It's a closely guarded secret - but it reportedly consists of lime green Jello mix, applesauce, and baby shampoo.

Race car driver Danica Patrick took home the blimp-shaped trophy for Best Female Athlete. She said she's not afraid of the green gook.

"I want to get slimed," said Patrick.

INSIDE EDITION caught up with Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas, who managed to avoid the icky mess. She told us who she wanted to see slimed.

"I have to say Khloe Kardashian," said Douglas.

Newly-single Katy Perry, who just broke up with singer John Mayer, looked amazing in a midriff-baring skirt and bra top. She took home an award for Favorite Female Singer.

"I love you kids. Stay safe. Stay in school," said Perry.

It truly was a slime-filled ceremony.
