Memorable Moments From 67th Annual Tony Awards

Neil Patrick Harris hosted the Tony Awards for the fourth time to rave reviews and a boost in ratings. INSIDE EDITION has more.

Tony host Neil Patrick Harris literally jumped through hoops while hosting the awards show for the fourth year in a row.

The opening number is getting rave reviews. Sunday night’s ratings were up 20% over last year.

The audience loved it, from the risky lifts to a magic trick that had Harris entering a box on stage, and seconds later marching down the isle at Radio City Music Hall.

When the high octane number was over, Harris received a standing ovation.

Harris is also getting a lot of reaction for his performance with the dog who plays Sandy in the revival of the beloved musical Annie. Things got very personal as the two exchanged kisses.

The women of The View reacted on Monday morning.

"We are not showing it on the lips because Standards and Practices says that we can not show the dog kissing Neil Patrick Harris because it's beastiality," said Barbara Walters.

There was one big upset. Oscar winner Tom Hanks was passed over for his role in the play Lucky Guy.

But veteran actress Cicily Tyson scored a big win. At age 88, she's the oldest person to ever win a Tony. She won best actress for The Trip to Bountiful. The audience loved her ad lib when producers gave her the “wrap it up” sign.

“'Please wrap it up,' it says. Well that's exactly what you did with me. You've wrapped me up in your arms after 30 years,” said Tyson.

Cyndy Lauper also took home a statue for her musical Kinky Boots. She said, "Thank you very, very, very much."
