Rob Lowe Portrays JFK In Upcoming 'Killing Kennedy' Film

Rob Lowe reveals to INSIDE EDITION how he handled the heavy responsibility of playing JFK in the upcoming film Killing Kennedy on the National Geographic Channel.

Rob Lowe and Ginnifer Goodwin are starring in the upcoming film Killing Kennedy airing in November on the National Geographic channel. The film was based on the best-selling book of the same name by former INSIDE EDITION anchor Bill O'Reilly.

INSIDE EDITION’s Jim Moret sat down with Lowe to talk about playing the iconic president who was gunned down in Dallas 50 years ago this November.

Moret asked, "Do you feel a special responsibility playing this role?"

Lowe said, “I do, for a number of reasons. One, it is the 50th anniversary. The country needs to remember him and remember what we lost when we lost him."

But nearly a half-century later the still unanswered question—did Oswald act alone or was he part of a vast conspiracy to kill a president?

Lowe said, “I started as a kid as a conspiracy theorist and I’ve come to the conclusion as an older person with life experience that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.”
