Children of 'Roseanne' Celebrate 25th Anniversary

The iconic TV show Roseanne is celebrating its 25th anniversary since it first aired and INSIDE EDITION spoke to some of the stars to discuss the landmark occasion.

It's been 25 years since the legendary sitcom Roseanne first hit the air.

INSIDE EDITION caught up with former child stars Michael Fishman and Lecy Goranson, who played DJ and Becky, just as WE TV kicks off it's celebration of the show's 25th anniversary. The sitcom ran for nine years from 1988-1997, but it never left TV and is still in syndication.

Goranson said, "It's hard to believe it's been 25 years. I don't feel that old!"

Fishman said, "For me, watching the show it feels like watching home movies. I always look back and I start thinking about things that went on behind-the-scenes, how much fun we had. Looking back now as an adult I get a different feel for it."

They say they still stay in touch with their TV parents, Roseanne Barr and John Goodman, and their TV sister Sara Gilbert, creator and a co-host on The Talk.

Speaking of Gilbert, she's written a new book, The Imperfect Environmentalist. It is a quick reference guide for people who want to live a green lifestyle.

INSIDE EDITION’s Diane McInerney Asked, “Why did you write this book?”

Gilbert said, “Someone gave me like a 300 page book on the environmental implications of doing your laundry and I’m like, 'I’m not gonna read this! Who is going to read this?'  So I boil it down to one page from the best tips to green nail polish, house paint, hair products, anything you can think of. You get one page per topic."
