Emmy Fashion Embraces Vibrant Color

The Emmys red carpet was bursting with color. INSIDE EDITION looks at who was wearing who.

TV's leading ladies lit up the Emmy red carpet and it was bursting with color.

Lifestyle expert Lawrence Zarian told INSIDE EDITION, "The colors on the red carpet were vibrant and fresh."

One of the big trends of the night was bright hues of blue. Tina Fey and Edie Falco looked dazzling in blue.

Falco told INSIDE EDITION's Deborah Norville, who was also in blue, "I like the blue. We got a whole blue thing going on."

Nashville's Connie Britton was stunning in a velvet colum dress. She told INSIDE EDITION, "It's one of my favorite dresses that I've ever worn. I love it."

Zarian said, "Velvet is the hottest fabrication for fall, and there was that beautiful gold detailing."

Deborah Norville was also on trend wearing a blue beaded gown by Badgley Mischka.

Allison Janney brightened up the red carpet in a fabulous fuchsia gown by Lorena Sarbu.

"I just love how it gives you a nice waist, and has yards of material," said Janney.

Pastels and neutrals also stole the show. But for Christina Hendricks, black was anything but basic.

Hendricks revealed, "I'm wearing Christian Siriano."

Comedienne Sarah Silverman actually got her dress online for, get this, $60 bucks.

One of the chic accessories we spotted on the red capret was Google glass.

So, what do celebs keep in their handbags on the Emmy red carpet?

Big Bang Theory's Mayim Bialik revealed a cookie in her bag, telling Deborah Norville, "It's a vegan oatmeal raisin cookie."

Yep, Mayim Bialik has a half-eaten cookie in her purse.

"So, if you get super, duper hungry during the awards show?" asked Norville.

"Oh, I've already eaten part of it. As soon as we're done talking I'm going to finish it," she said.
