New Miss Universe Crowned In Moscow

Miss Venezuela was crowned Miss Universe in Moscow, but before she took the crown, a few "oops" moments disrupted her winning. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

It was a major "oops" moment at the 2013 Miss Universe competition in Moscow, Russia, over the weekend.

Outgoing Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, accidentally dropped the diamond tiara as she was crowning the new Miss Universe. The crown tumbled down Miss Venezuela’s face, but Culpo caught it.

Culpo told INSIDE EDITION, “I kind of dropped the crown on her head, because it fell off her head. That was embarrassing.”

With all the screaming, Gabriela Isler couldn't even hear the announcement that she had won.

“I am so happy, I am so happy,” she said.

The 25-year-old beauty queen stole the show during the competition in Moscow wearing a red hot bikini.

Pageant owner Donald Trump says the judges got it right, saying, “I think she is fantastic. She is going to be a fantastic Miss Universe. She is a great beauty.”

Culpo may no longer be Miss Universe, but don't be upset for the Rhode Island native. During her year-long reign she met singer Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers. INSIDE EDITION caught them backstage sharing a tender embrace.

What a year. And what a night to remember.
