Lana Scolaro is the woman who was caught getting naughty with Robin Thicke when they posed for the camera. However, they didn't realize they were in front of a mirror as his hand could be seen on her behind at an after party for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
Now, the woman is denying she had anything to do with the end of his marriage. She told photographers, "I didn't split [their marriage]....just go away."
Scolaro is a student in New York City. The Twitter photo of her and Thicke surfaced last summer of the singer grabbing her behind.
Just last month, he was caught apparently kissing a beauty at a nightclub in Paris. Tabloid stories about his alleged infidelities have plagued him and wife Paula Patton over the past months. His behavior was so blatant, there were even rumors that they had an open marriage.
One observer reported to People magazine, "He didn't act married."
Sheryl Underwood said on The Talk, "I heard that they had a little thing and lines kind of got blurred."
The headlines reached a crescendo following that infamous twerking performance with Miley Cyrus at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The “Blurred Lines” singer and the Baggage Claim actress, announced their split in a joint statement Monday: "We will always love each other and be best friends. However, we have mutually decided to separate at this time."
Thicke and Patton met in Los Angeles back in 1991 when he was just 14 and she was 15. They wed in 2005. Not long ago, he opened up to Oprah about their relationship.
Oprah asked Thicke, "Did I not see your hand on that girl's butt?"
He said, "Let's just say it was three in the morning at an after party and it was a joke."
Oprah asked, "How did your wife feel about that? Did she see the picture I saw?"
He said, "Yes, and it is never easy once it is in the press."
They have an adorable three-year-old son, Julian. Thicke and Patton appeared together in very sexy music videos. His “Blurred Lines” video definitely upped the sexiness factor.
His mom, former Days of Our Lives star, Gloria Loring, recently told INSIDE EDITION that Patton was not the jealous type.
Loring said, "I said, 'What does Paula think of it?' He said, 'She told me to release the somewhat nude version.' I said, 'You go, Paula!'"
