Chelsea Handler made her feelings known about troubled baseball slugger Alexander Rodriguez. INSIDE EDITION explains.
Late night talk show host Chelsea Handler clearly does not like Alexander Rodriguez. She just blasted him on Howard Stern's radio show
She said, “I really just think he's a pile of (blank).”
She talked about what A-Rod recently said to her at a party, saying, “’Why you gotta make fun of me all the time?" and I’m like, ‘Just get away from me, I think you're disgusting.’”
Stern asked, “Is that what you would say?”
She replied, “Yeah, I said it the other night, I said ‘You're gross.’ I said ‘You're gross’ and he goes, ‘Why am I gross, we got off on the wrong foot. Why am I gross? I read all your books, I’m a big fan.’ I go, ‘Well, I don't know why you're a big fan, I think you're a (blank).”
Stern asked, “Why is he gross? Why don't you like Alex Rodriguez?”
“Just the way he conducts himself. He dates all these girls, he just sleeps around. I don't like guys who like cheat on their girlfriends, you know. I'm not into that,” said Handler.
Stern said, “So that's your impression of him?”
“Just a buffoon,” she said.
Handler, who is promoting her new book, Uganda Be Kidding Me, is also taking some heat for a Tweet she wrote when actress Lupita Nyong'o won Best Supporting Actress for 12 Years a Slave at the Oscars.
She tweeted: "#AngelinaJolie Just Filed Adoption Papers."
Handler was asked about the controversy on Good Morning America.
George Stephanopoulos asked, "Pretty fierce reaction on Twitter. It struck many people as racist. What do you think of that?"
She said, "Well, people are always upset with me about something. I don't take it personally."
He then said, "But, you did apologize."
"I said at the end, 'I'm sorry for just being me,'" said Handler.
