Stars Of 'Sharknado 2' Promise More Thrills

INSIDE EDITION went behind the scenes of the much anticipated sequal to Sharknado and spoke to the movie's stars, Ian Ziering and Tara Reid.

Just when you thought it was safe to go outside, Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, and those flying killer sharks are back for Sharknado 2, the sequel to the wildly-popular movie that broke all records on the Syfy channel.

This time, the action takes place in New York’s Times Square. INSIDE EDITION went behind the scenes as Ziering climbed on top of a fire truck with his now infamous chainsaw.

He told INSIDE EDITION, “Chainsaws and sharks, kind of fun.”

INSIDE EDITION has learned that in one scene, Reid gets her hand chopped off.

She said, “Imagine you get your arm eaten by a shark, you're going to flip out, you're going to scream.”

Even our interview with Ziering was interrupted by a warning bell. He said, “That's a Sharknado storm warning bell, you'd better get out of here.”

The stars promise lots of surprises in Sharknado 2, but Reid won't spill all the shark secrets from the set, saying, “I thought, ‘What are we going to do to top that?’ and I think we did.”
