Alec Baldwin Arrested For Illegal Biking

Alec Baldwin was arrested for disorderly conduct and riding his bike the wrong way in New York City. The actor is not taking his bust quietly. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

Alec Baldwin was in handcuffs moments after he was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and riding his bike the wrong way on New York City's famed Fifth Avenue.

InTouch magazine photos show the 30 Rock star dressed in shorts and a visor as he was placed in the back of a police car by two female cops Tuesday morning.

Alec was riding his bike on the very congested Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. He was pulled over by police for reportedly riding in the wrong direction. He was asked for I.D. but didn't have any, and then the notoriously volatile actor blew up at police and was promptly arrested.

INSIDE EDITION's Les Trent spoke to one witness who said, "He looked kind of old and disheveled and annoyed by the situation."

After his arrest, Baldwin reportedly said: "How old are these officers? They don't even know who I am."

A photo was taken after he was released and left the station house with his bike. He returned to his apartment where he unleashed a Twitter barrage against the female cop who arrested him, even mentioning her badge number, which we will not post.

He tweeted: “Officer Moreno, badge number [blank], arrested me and handcuffed me for going the wrong way on Fifth Ave. Meanwhile, photographers outside my home once again terrified my daughter and nearly hit her with a camera. The police did nothing. New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign.”

Alec Baldwin, who has famously battled photographers outside his apartment, recently wrote in a magazine article that he planned to move away from New York City. This arrest may speed up moving day.
