Body Language Insight Into Solange Knowles' Attack On Jay Z

Body language expert Tonya Reiman dissects the body language during Beyoncé's sister, Solange Knowles' attack on Jay Z. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Everyone is struck at how restrained Beyoncé and Jay Z seem to be during their elevator smackdown with Beyoncé's sister, Solange.

And body language expert and author of The Power of Body Language, Tonya Reiman, says there may be a reason for it.

Reiman told INSIDE EDITION, "It seems to me that this is not new. They're used to her lashing out and they're just accepting it and dealing with it the best they can at this point."

Reiman says as Solange freaked out, Jay Z made every effort to protect himself.

"He's not lashing back. He becomes very stiff and rigid. See, that that's the fig leaf, you automatically cover up what you know is your vulnerable area," noted Reiman.

And what of Beyoncé's reaction?

"It's interesting because she's not looking at either one of them. She's just pretty much looking straight ahead or down. It's as if she's trying to remove herself from this picture. She doesn't want to be involved. Yet, she still stands next to Jay Z, even though she's being neutral she still chooses her side," said Reiman.

Reiman also says Beyoncé's bodyguard showed remarkable self-control.

"Your reaction would be, the bodyguard is supposed to guard. Instead, what he's doing, he's walking a very fine line because this is family. So, he's trying to not insult her and by doing so he needs to make sure he does it gently," noted Reiman.

Insight into one very dramatic elevator ride.

Reiman said, "This isn't just anger. This is rage."
