Barbara Walters Ends an Era With Last Day On 'The View'

Barbara Walters was surrounded by 18 years of co-hosts on The View as she bid farewell to 50 years on television. INSIDE EDITION has details.

It was television history as all former co-hosts of The View returned to say farewell to Barbara Walters.

Walter opened the show with, "Hello and welcome to a monumental day on The View, at least for me."

Meredith Vieira, Star Jones, Debbie Matenopoulos, Joy Behar, Lisa Ling, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and Rosie O'Donnell all joined Walters on the set. There they were, 18 years of view co-hosts together on one stage.

Walter said, "I had such good times with each of you. I mean it when I say that I love you."

So, what have they been up to since leaving The View?

Meredith Vieira has been caring for her husband who has M.S. She told Walters, "Richard is great. Loves you. He's doing well he had a scare recently with a clot, but he's fine."

Debbie Matenopoulos reveals she's pregnant and shared her sonogram, saying, "I'm five months pregnant and I'm poppping. I have finally popped."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck left last year for the Fox News channel.

Walters said, "Elisabeth, she stays in touch with me. She writes me, sends me emails. Means a great deal."

"That's becase I'm your favorite," said Hasselbeck.

Joy Behar joked, "This is like the Last Supper with Barbara as Jesus."

Hasselbeck and her old nemesis, Rosie O'Donnell were on their best behavior.

Jenny McCarthy asked O'Donnell, "What do you miss most about sitting at the table?"

"Fighting with the skinny one right here," replied O'Donnell.

"I knew it," said Hasselbeck.

Before saying goodbye, the ladies posed for a class photo one last time together as they celebrate Barbara Walters and her 50 years on the air.
