'A Hard Day's Night' Celebrates Beatlemania's 50th Anniversary

The Fab Four are returning to the big screen this weekend to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their classic film, A Hard Day's Night. INSIDE EDITION has the details on the movie's restoration.

The Beatles are back in glorious black and white! A restored version of their landmark movie A Hard Day's Night is being shown in theaters coast to coast. The film is also being released on Blu-ray for the first time.

The relaunch marks the 50th anniversary of the film, in which the Fab Four journey from Liverpool to London for a TV show.

He says the influence of A Hard Day's Night is being felt to this day, saying, "It contains the template for just about every music video ever made. Almost every song that has been released since 'A Hard Day's Night,' has been influenced by 'A Hard Day's Night.'"

The movie was a blockbuster hit around the world and sealed the success of John, Paul, George, and Ringo.

Apart from the Fab Four themselves, another star-to-be appears in the film, even if it is only very briefly. Believe it or not, Phil Collins had a cameo in the movie before he was famous. The future Genesis member and solo star was just another 15-year-old Beatles fan when he got to watch the Fab Four perform.

In one scene, there is a giddy blonde schoolgirl on the train. Who is she? It was Pattie Boyd, George Harrison’s future wife. They met thanks to the film.
