'Duck Dynasty's' Sadie Robertson's Advice On Remaining A Virgin

INSIDE EDITION spoke to Duck Dynasty heiress and Dancing with the Stars contestant Sadie Robertson about her new book.

Duck Dynasty heiress Sadie Robertson has been embraced by America and her fellow dancers in the ballroom. But she says it was much different when she made her first walk down the fashion runway.

The 17-year-old told INSIDE EDITION that when she presented the "daddy-approved" prom dress line she co-designed during New York Fashion Week, the other models weren't exactly warm and fuzzy.

She said, “I just got the rudest stares. I had to get my hair and makeup done before everybody because I had to do interviews and stuff and they did not like that, that I was going before them. Also, they didn't eat. I didn't realize that the snack table wasn't for the models so, I was eating a lot.”

The Dancing with the Stars contestant wrote about the drama in her new book Live Original.

“They would all be like, ‘Why? Why do you get to do this? What are you doing here? Why are you walking with us?’ That kind of thing. They were all 6-foot-tall and 110, and I was like 5-5.”

In the book she also lays out her rules for dating. One tip: Don't be home alone together. She says she plans to remain a virgin until marriage.

“I think it's important for a teenager to hear it from another teenager, like, ‘Hey I'm doing it too,'" she said.

She shared pages of home photos in her new book. Including one of her dad without his famous beard.

She said, "Personally, I prefer him without the beard. Moms likes him with the beard. I think he likes himself without the beard. So, I think after Duck Dynasty the beard may go."
