Lupita Nyong'o's Oscar Dress Stolen!

Lupita Nyong’o stepped out on the Oscar red carpet wearing a gorgeous gown adorned with 6,000 pearls. Now, that dress has disappeared. INSIDE EDITION is investigating on the scene.

Where is Lupita Nyong’o's pearl adorned Oscar dress?

The custom made, Calvin Klein gown was stolen from her hotel room at a posh West Hollywood Hotel.

She made a huge splash at the Oscars as she glided down the red carpet in the dress which was adorned with nearly 6,000 Akoya pearls.

The dress featured intricate white and ivory cascading beaded pearls, with a key hole cut out and a pearl draped halter neckline.

The price tag of the dress is a reported $150,000.

She posted a video on instagram getting ready for the big night in her hotel room.

In the video, you can see she was surrounded by a team of stylists and hair and makeup people.

The hotel is one of L.A.’s most elegant boutique hotels. Police say Nyong’o was still there on Tuesday, two days after the Oscar ceremony, when she stepped out for the day. When she returned at 9p.m., the dress was gone.

Police say the theft took place between 8a.m. and 9p.m. Surveillance video reportedly exists of the thief making off with the gown. It wasn't reported to police until 11:30p.m. Wednesday. She couldn't file a police report right away because she doesn't own the dress.

The gown was designed by Calvin Klein Collection's Francisco Costa. After the Oscars, where she presented the award for Best Supporting Actor, Nyong’o changed into another outfit, which she wore to the Vanity Fair party.

After she won Best Supporting Actress last year for 12 Years A Slave, the once unknown actress has become a red carpet darling, wowing everyone with her glamor and sophistication.

Now, one of the most talked about dresses of the 2015 Oscars is missing.
