Lady Gaga isn’t afraid of some icy cold water especially when it’s for a good cause.
The pop star along with her new fiancé Taylor Kinney surprised everyone on Sunday when they arrived at Chicago’s Lake Michigan for the polar plunge. The couple joined more than 4,000 who jumped into the freezing cold water as a fundraiser for the Special Olympics.
Lady Gaga wore leggings along with a Chicago Fire t-shirt paying homage to Kinney’s TV show, while he braved the cold going shirtless.
They weren’t the only celebrities attending the event, Vince Vaughn, who is originally from Illinois joined in the fun wearing a Chicago Blackhawks jersey.
The fundraiser raised $1.1 million for the Special Olympics, the most in the event’s history.
