Mo'Ne Davis Forgives Baseball Player For Insulting Tweet, Asks University To Give Him a Second Chance

"Everyone makes mistakes."

Little league legend Mo'ne Davis is showing a lot of class after a college baseball player insulted her in a vulgar tweet.

Joey Casselberry, who plays 1st base for Bloomsberg University in Pennsylvania tweeted: "Disney is making a movie about Mo'ne Davis? What a joke. That s___ got rocked by Nevada."

Casselberry was immediately cut from the team.

He tweeted an apology saying: "One stupid tweet can ruin someone's life and I couldn't be more sorry."

But Mo'ne emailed the university asking for him to be given a second chance. She explained why on ESPN's Sports Center.

"Because everyone makes mistakes and I know he would if it was me. I would want to take that back and I know he would do anything just to take that one tweet back. And I know how hard he has worked just to get where he is at. So, why not give him a second chance," she said.

So far, Bloomsberg is standing by its decision.
