Russell Westbrook is a strong contender for the NBA’s MVP award which will be given out at the end of the season. The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard is having one of the best seasons of his career and proves it game after game.
Westbrook showed his worth at the NBA All-Star game in February and ended up being named MVP of the match where he won a trophy and a $25,000 Kia Sorento.

On Monday, the athlete showed a different side of himself off the court when he surprised 19-year-old single mom, Kerstin Gonzales with the car, after she was recommended to him by the Sunbeam Family Services. Gonzales has been raising her two young sons and completing high school at the same time.
Gonzales has been reportedly facing car trouble recently and has been borrowing vehicles from family members, but that all changed when Westbrook surprised her.
