Elephants typically walk over 50 miles a day and it appears that one baby elephant may have had enough for one day.
A calf got down on his knees and collapsed in the middle of the road at Kruger National Park in South Africa. One by one, other elephants attended to the calf and began nudging it to get on up so they could continue on their journey.
Another elephant that appeared to be the same age even tried to help get him up but he just didn't want to keep going.
Finally after enough encouragement the calf appeared to be getting up very slowly, almost like as if it were having a tantrum, and re-joined the herd to continue on their journey.
Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa and has more species of large mammals than any other African game reserve! If you want to stay up to date on all the action, follow @latestkruger on Instagram.
