During a FC Dallas soccer game, an Army vet was given a mortgage-free home for his family as a thank you to his service.
During the FC Dallas soccer game, U.S. Army Sergeant Jerry Holcomb who served three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan had a surprise that would change his life forever.

The 13-year veteran was stunned when he was awarded a custom built, mortgage-free house.
The surprise was overwhelming for Sergeant Holcomb and his wife; they broke down in tears and embraced each other in the middle of the field. FC Dallas partnered with Operation Finally Home, a national non-profit organization those partners with other companies to build homes for vets and their families.
When asked how he was feeling, a tearful Sergeant Holcomb said: “I am at a loss for words.”

Sergeant Holcomb was awarded two purple hearts and two bronze star medals and is certainly deserving of such a wonderful gesture.
