Sharknado Sets Its Eye on Washington DC in Third Movie

'Sharknado 3' premieres Wednesday night on the Syfy channel.

Washington D.C. is in the eye of the shark storm in the latest Sharknado movie.

A clip from the film shows how even Honest Abe has a close encounter when a flying shark lands in his lap.

Ian Ziering is back starring in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No. This Sharknado is even more over-the-top than the first two and premieres Wednesday night on the Syfy channel.

The movie is filled with appearances of famous faces. Mark Cuban goes from the Shark Tank to Sharknado to play the president.

And if the president gets eaten alive guess who takes over? Conservative firebrand Anne Coulter plays the Veep.

Disgraced former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner even has a role and 58-year-old Bo Derek plays Tara Reid's mom, who is reprising her role.

This summer has proved to certainly be the season of the shark.

Pro surfer Mick Fanning, who electrified the world with his encounter with a shark at a tournament in South Africa which was part of the World Surfe League is back home in Australia.

"Someone was looking out for me. To walk away from a shark attack without a scratch on you, it is a miracle, really," he said. 

And as if we didn't have enough to worry about, a family Texas could not believe it when they came upon a nine-foot alligator in the surf.

A youngster has this suggestion: “Shoot him, Clint. Shoot him.”
