Initial Bobbi Kristina Autopsy Complete, Shows 'No Significant Injuries'

The initial part of Bobbi Kristina's autopsy has been completed, just hours after the 22-year-old passed away.

The initial part of Bobbi Kristina Brown's autopsy has been completed - and no significant injuries were found.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office released the update just hours after the death of 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina, the only daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.

"The autopsy does not show an obvious underlying cause of death and no significant injuries were noted," the office said in a statement on Monday afternoon.

It added that no previously unknown medical conditions were identified and further tests will now be carried out.

Only once the tests are completed will a manner of death be decided and her death certificate will be completed. The process could take several weeks, the office said.

Bobbi Kristina passed away while in hospice care on Sunday, six months after she was found unresponsive in her Roswell, Georgia home.

On Monday, her father Bobby Brown broke his silence about her death.

"Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time," he said in a statement.

"My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl."

The circumstances surrounding the January 31 incident are still under investigation, according to the Fulton County district attorney.

In February 2012, her mother, Whitney Houston, passed away in eerily similar circumstances after she was discovered in a bathtub in her Los Angeles hotel.

A funeral service will be held in Atlanta, Georgia for Bobbi Kristina this week before her body is flown to New Jersey to be buried alongside her mother, a family source told Entertainment Tonight.
