During Thursday's Republican presidential debate, Donald Trump said the Clintons attended his 2005 wedding because he donated $100,000 to their foundation.
Donald Trump is mired in the Clinton contribution controversy.
Last night at the Republican debate, he was challenged for donating $100,000 dollars to The Clinton Foundation.
He said: “Hillary Clinton, I said, 'Be at my wedding,' and she came to my wedding. She had no choice because I gave to a foundation.”

“I gave to many people before this,” Trump said at the debate. “When they call, I give. And you know what, when I need something from them two years later, three years later, I call them. They are there for me.”
According to TIME magazine, Clinton spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri said: “He invited her; they’re acquaintances; this is long established. And it hurt her feelings I’m sure to hear him suggest that he didn’t actually want her there.”
The Clintons did attend Trump's wedding in 2005, which happened at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida.
His wife, Melania was in her $150,000 wedding gown as 1,500 wedding-watchers lined the streets,
The 400 plus wedding guests were a who's who of stars, politicians, and performers.
Billy Joel, Heidi Klum, Kelly Ripa, as well as Bill and Hillary Clinton attended -- they were seated next to basketball superstar Shaquille O'Neal.
Rudy Giuliani and his wife, Judith Nathan, were also in attendance, so were then-Today show co-hosts Matt Lauer and Katie Couric.
Donald kissed his bride not once but three times at the altar.
But even though the Clintons were there to share Donald’s joy, he says it means nothing when it comes to politics.

After the debate on Thursday, he said: “Hilary Clinton knows I’m her worst nightmare.”
In June, Bill Clinton appeared on The Daily Show and host Jon Stewart asked about Donald Trump running for president.
The former president said: “He has been, believe it or not, uncommonly nice to Hillary and me. He thought Hillary was a good Senator for New York after 9/11 and he is one of the many Republicans who has actually supported our foundation before they got the memo.”
