Pop star Jason Derulo is speaking out after reportedly being thrown off a plane.
The singer was supposed to fly from Reno to Los Angeles on Saturday but he and his entourage reportedly got into a verbal altercation with a member of staff for Southwest Airlines and they were asked to depart the plane.
"It was a little mishap," Derulo later explained to Entertainment Tonight. "Basically, there was a little confrontation with the people that work at the front."
"We were literally just trying to not cause a ruckus," he continued. "There's a lot of picture taking and that stuff going on. They weren't being very accommodating."
He went on: "One of my people were like, 'You're full of s***.' They were like, 'You guys got to get out of the plane.' They kicked us all off the plane."
Derulo then took to Instagram to show he got to his destination via a private jet. He added that he had fired his travel agent.
A spokesperson for Southwest Airlines told People magazine that the group was removed because they refused to follow boarding procedures.
"According to our employees, the group refused to follow boarding procedures," the spokesperson said in a statement.
"Initial reports indicate that several customers complained about the group's behavior. Our crew, responsible for the Safety and comfort of all customers on board, attempted to diffuse the situation; ultimately, local authorities were called and the decision was made to deny boarding to the group.
"The group sought alternate transportation and their tickets were refunded."
