TV Host Talks About How Hard it is to Spot Whales... As One Appears Behind Him

One blue whale has perfect comedic timing. When a host was talking about how difficult it is to spot the mammal, one emerged from the sea.

Talk about being right on cue.

BBC's Big Blue Live zoologist Mark Carwardine was explaining to audiences how difficult it can be to spot blue whales in the wild when one popped up behind him.

"We’ve spent all day, since first light, looking - haven’t seen a thing," he complained to the camera.

Less than a second later, the whale made an appearance.

Mark and the rest of his crew couldn't help but giggle at the coincidence of the whale's video bomb.
