Couple Responds to Questions About When They're Having a Baby By Posing For 'Newborn' Photo Shoot With Their D

One couple wanted people to get off their back about not having kids, so they found a clever way for people to stop asking.

When Abby and Matt wanted their in-laws to stop pestering them about when they were going to have a child, they found a clever way to get their message across.

Instead of smiling alongside a newborn, the couple posed with their beloved dog Humphry - placing him in a stroller, cuddling in bed, and cradling their newest family member.

The photos were captured by their friend Elisha Minnette who told INSIDE EDITION that they came up with the idea on a long drive home one day.

Minnette told INSIDE EDITION: "We did this shoot just for a little bit of humour between ourselves and our closest family and friends that has the same sense of humour as us. We did not expect this to get as big as it has.”

Minnette posted the photos on her Facebook page:

The friends said they wanted to mock parents who "overshare" photos on social media by posing with their pup.

In defense of the project, Minnette added: "People say we have way to much time on our hands. That is not the case. We just prefer to be creative outdoors rather then sit inside watching TV."
