People Think Trump is 'Arrogant' and Hillary is a 'Liar,' Poll Shows

A new Quinnipiac poll shows that the American public thinks Trump is "arrogant" and Clinton is a "liar."

What's the first word that comes to mind when you think of the presidential candidates?

According to a new Quinnipiac poll, voters think Donald Trump is "arrogant" and Hillary Clinton is a "liar."

When pollsters asked respondents to describe Trump in a single word, they also called him "blowhard," "idiot” and "businessman."

When asked to describe Hillary, they also said: "dishonest," "untrustworthy,” and “experience."

As for Jeb Bush? Well, the most used word to describe him was “Bush."

The new poll has Trump way ahead in the GOP race, with 28 percent compared to 12 percent for his closest rival, Dr. Ben Carson.

"Donald Trump soars; Ben Carson rises; Jeb Bush slips and some GOP hopefuls seem to disappear. Trump proves you don't have to be loved by everyone, just by enough Republicans to lead the GOP pack," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

But there are also troubling signs for the Donald. Another interesting stat in the Quinnipiac poll was that if Joe Biden were to run, he would top both Trump and Bush.

In the matchups among all American voters: “Biden tops Trump 48 - 40 percent. He beats Bush 45 - 39 percent and gets 44 percent to Rubio's 41 percent.”

Malloy said: "Note to Biden: They like you, they really like you, or they like you more than the others. If he is sitting on the fence, his scores in the matchups and his favorability ratings may compel him to say, 'Let's do this.'"

Meanwhile, Ricky Martin is calling for Latinos to unite against Trump following the events that occurred with Univision reporter Jorge Ramos.

The “Livin’ La Vida Loca” wrote in an editorial in Univision’s website: “The fact that a person like Donald Trump, a candidate for the U.S. presidency for the Republican Party, has the gall to continue to freely harass the Latino community day after day makes my blood boil.”

Martin also wrote: “Jorge Ramos was doing his job as a journalist in a press conference, which he attended representing one of the world’s most important television networks for Hispanics and exercising his right of freedom of the press. Yet, Trump verbally assaulted and removed Jorge from the event without any apparent reason.

“I am not surprised Trump would aim so low. I am surprised that we Hispanics continue to accept these aggressions and accusations by individuals like Trump who continue to attack our dignity. It has to stop!”

While Martin is chastising Trump’s rhetoric, Jimmy Kimmel is poking fun at the billionaire’s campaign.

In a new video that aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host cut together a parody of Trump’s plan once he gets into office
