Marine Surprises His Rams Cheerleader Wife After Returning From Overseas

Candace Valentine was stunned when her husband, August, who is stationed in South Korea, appeared behind her at Edward Jones Dome.

This St Louis Rams cheerleader thought she was getting a special message from her Marine husband during Saturday's game – but had no idea he’d be delivering it in person.

A video of the moment they reunited was shared on Twitter by the Rams, who helped orchestrate the reunion.

In the video, she is seen gasping and throwing her arms around her husband, who was her high school sweetheart.

Not only is Candace a cheerleader for the Rams, she’s in the military, too. A first lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps, she has stayed in St Louis to work as a law office associate and complete a doctorate in public policy.

The sweet reunion was captured as the Rams played the Indianapolis Colts in a preseason game.
