Singer Janet Jackson struggled to contain her emotions on the first stop of her "Unbreakable" tour.
Janet Jackson paid a tearful tribute to her brother as she kicked off her “Unbreakable World Tour.”

The singer broke down during the first show in Vancouver, which included a tribute to her brother Michael, who would have turned 57 years old the day before.
“I love you so much, so much, so much,” she told the audience as she wiped tears from her eyes. “And I’ve missed you!”
Janet, who hasn't toured in four years, performed to a nearly sold out crowd. The singer will also be putting out a new album soon, although a release date has not been set.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, her longtime collaborator Jimmy Jam, who also worked with Michael, opened up about the record.
"The thing about this album is there’s a lot of different places that it touches, but at the end of the day, it’s pure Janet,” he said.
Missy Elliot has collaborated with her on a new song, “Unbreakable” which made its debut at the Vancouver tour opener.

Missy Elliot, who was not there to perform the track with her, sent out a tweet giving her best to her friend:
