Meghan McCain Gets Candid on The Tonight Show

Meghan McCain dropped a bombshell on The Tonight Show when she gave her opinion about Sarah Palin and the Obama administration.  INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

John McCain's daughter Meghan made quite an appearance on The Tonight Show last night. She looked glamorous in a one-sleeved black dress—and then the bombshells dropped.

This is what she thought on hearing her dad had chosen Sarah Palin as his running mate.

"My initial reaction was, 'Who the hell is Sarah Palin?' like everyone else, you know?" said Meghan.

Meghan reveals she was in a state of panic as she stood behind her dad that day.

"I had no idea who she was. I remember thinking, 'god let her not have any skeletons in the closet. Please god'," remarked Meghan.

Promoting her new book, Dirty, Sexy, Politics, Meghan reveals that she had a tense relationship with Palin on the campaign trail. She even refers to Palin as a "ticking time bomb."

Meghan said, "This nickname came from a Beck song, 'Time bomb ticking, time bomb ticking'."

Meghan says she disapproves of the job President Obama is doing, saying, "I think his approval ratings speak for themselves."

And she can't see voting for a Democrat for president.

"I just want a candidate that will bring us all together, and stop being us versus them. So right now, I'm team Romney," Meghan stated.

Meanwhile Barbara Walters had harsh words today for Bristol Palin, who is a contestant on ABCs hit show Dancing with the Stars.

"Why is she a star? She's a 17-year-old who got pregnant and wasn't married," questioned Walters.
