Lamar Odom was rushed to the hospital after Love Ranch employees discovered him face down and unresponsive after more than two days of partying.

Former NBA star and former Kardashian in-law Lamar Odom is in a coma after he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel from a supposed overdose, according to reports.

Odom, 35, was in critical condition and on life support at a Las Vegas hospital, where drugs were found inside the former Los Angeles Laker's system, and doctors were treating the situation as an overdose, according to E! News

He apparently suffered from a loss of oxygen and may have had an "ischemic stroke," typically caused by a blood clot preventing blood flow to the brian and is often associated with a cocaine overdose, among other drugs, E! News reported.

Odom was rushed to the hospital after employees at Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada discovered him face down and unresponsive on Tuesday afternoon after more than two days of partying there, authorities and the Ranch’s owner told the Associated Press.

Odom was allegedly using drugs including crack cocaine since Friday, E! news reported.

"He just wanted to get away, have a good time and relax," Love Ranch Owner Dennis Hof told AP.

Hof, who owns other legal brothels in the state, said his staff picked up Odom from his home in Las Vegas on Saturday and said the former Los Angeles Laker was “happy, he was sleeping every night.”

But Odom was discovered by two women about 3 p.m. Tuesday face down and unconscious.

When they turned him on his side at the direction of a 911 operator, he began “throwing up all kinds of stuff,” Hof told AP.

Odam was reportedly "foaming at the mouth" and bleeding, Hof told E! News.

The owner of Love Ranch, which was the subject of the HBO realty show Cathouse, tweeted about the incident, writing:

Hof told the wire Odom had been taking herbal Viagra and drank part of a bottle of cognac since arriving, but he had no knowledge of any other drug use.

Odom was in a good mood throughout his stay at Love Ranch, until he received a phone call Sunday that "bummed him out," E! News reported.

Odom was treated by paramedics and stabilized before he was taken to the hospital, a spokeswoman for the Nye County Sheriff’s Office told the Los Angeles Times.

He was initially going to be rushed to the hospital by helicopter, but because of his 6' 10" height, Odom he could not be transported by air, the Times reported.

Odom gained reality television fame after he married Khloe Kardashian in a large, televised ceremony in 2009. Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce has not yet received final approval from a judge.

Kardashian was reportedly working at a lingerie shoot in Beverly Hills when she learned what hapepned to her estranged husband. Joined by her mother Kris Jenner and her sister Kim Kardashian West, Khloe flew to Las Vegas to be by his bedside at the hospital, TMZ reported.

Kardashian's sister, Kendall Jenner, was the first family member to acknowledge the tragedy, tweeting from Shanghai, China, where the model is for Shanghai Fashion Week:

Odom was born in Queens, New York and was raised by his grandmother.

Odom’s father, Joe Odom, who was reportedly a drug addict with whom Odom had a strained relationship, told HollywoodLife.com that he believed his son was drugged, saying: “There’s no way he’s down there partying crazy like that. No way.”

But Odom’s rep warned to not listen to speculation about his condition or pay attention to any rumors that pop up.

““Family and friends are extremely concerned for Lamar,” publicist Eve Sarkisyan told Us in a statement. “Please don't listen to the false information being circulated unofficially. Please respect the family's privacy during this difficult time.”
