Jeb Bush Finds TV's New Supergirl 'Pretty Hot'

GOP candidate Jeb Bush said that he finds TV's new Supergirl 'pretty hot.'

Jeb Bush has revealed he’s looking forward to tuning in to CBS’ new series Supergirl because she’s “pretty hot.”

The GOP candidate was in Las Vegas when he was asked to name his favorite comic book hero.

He responded that he was “old school” and likes characters from the Marvel comics and Batman – but he also has a new favorite: Supergirl, played by 27-year-old actress Melissa Benoist.

"I saw it when I was working out this morning," he said. "She looked kinda... she looked pretty hot. I don't know which channel it's on, but I'm looking forward to that."

The new CBS series debuts Monday and stars Melissa Benoist as the sweet but sexy "Girl of Steel."

His comments were fodder for Trevor Noah who took him to task on The Daily Show.

“Jeb, just to let you know, and to everyone out there, Supergirl premieres at 8:30 on CBS," Noah said. "And based on Jeb's excitement, I suggest no one shake his hand after 9 p.m. because his hands will be sweating from the joy.”

There's dramatic news from a new poll from Des Moines Register / Bloomberg Politics that puts Ben Carson in first place with 28 percent of the vote. Trump trails in second place with 19 percent.

The Trump campaign is in damage control mode today for a retweet posted on Trump's Twitter account.

The tweet said: “#BenCarson is now leading in the #polls in #Iowa. Too much #Monsanto in the #corn creates issues in the brain? #Trump #GOP.”

Trump insists he didn't tweet it and an intern did:

The young intern who accidentally did a Retweet apologizes.
