Graphic video shows a female cop being slammed to the ground by high school girl in after-school melee.

A female officer was slammed to the ground and pummeled by a high school girl during an after-school brawl that also injured three other cops, authorities said.

Cellphone video apparently shows the woman being repeatedly assaulted in a crowd of students near an Allentown, Pennsylvania, high school on Thursday.

The video, taken by a fellow high schooler, quickly went viral after he posted it on Facebook.

“I don’t know why she hit the cop,” the teenager told INSIDE EDITION, which is not using his name because he says he has received online threats.

He has known the girl in the video since they both were in the sixth grade, he said. “As far as I know, she has been an honor student since middle school,” he said.

“I didn’t know she was capable of this and I do not know why she did this,” he said.

About 200 students were involved in the melee near William Allen High School, police said.

Three teenagers were arrested, according to the Associated Press. It was not clear if they will face charges.

Phone messages left by INSIDE EDITION with the Allentown Police Department were not immediately returned.

The four injured cops have all been treated and released from a local hospital, authorities said.
